FARINGDON
PJ PARTY
One very lucky 8 year old, a house once owned by the notorious Lord Berners which still houses a flock of pastel coloured doves, a flock of lambs, one indoor lawn, armfuls of feather pillows and enough giant balloons to take flight all add up to a very memorable pyjama party...
Guests of all sizes arrived to discover a freshly laid lawn in the large living room, replete with giant pastel coloured helium filled balloons and - oh joy - free range lambs, waiting to be patted, cuddled and bottle fed.
After a nursery style tea, small guests headed downstairs to the pillow fighting room, lined with mattresses and filled with pre-torn feather pillows, to work up quite a rumpus.
Energy spent, most guests departed happy and tired with party bags and balloons, but a select few stayed on for a slumber party in the tents erected on the lawn.
